Tour details and prices.
All rides will start and end at Riders Motorcycles,Wylds Rd,Bridgwater.TA6 4BH 10am start for 10.30 start.
Day rides will
cover 120 to 190 miles depending on the route.The most popular route seems to
be heading west up over the
Quantocks,to Blue Anchor Bay for a tea/coffee stop up over Exmoor slowly passed
the ponies sheep or cows,georgous views great photo
Opportunity.This part of the ride will be quite slow with ample time to admire
the scenery.We can then head on to the Valley of the Rocks for lunch.The return
route can vary somewhat but often head towards Barnstaple and come back below
Exmoor and the Brendon Hill
Returning to Bridgwater by approx 4.30/5pm.
Two day tours.
We will head west through North Somerset and across Exmoor down towards South
Molton along the way we will use slow B roads to enjoy the scenery and on or
two brisk A roads to blw away the cobwebs.The exact route will vary depending
on traffic and weather.
We will eventually arrive at our Hotel in Illfracombe .I use two Hotels both
are 2 star with very good accomodation and excellent food ,both have drying
rooms ,just in case .The Hotels are booked on a bed/breakfast and two course
evening meal basis this included in the cost.We will leave the hotel the following
morning at 10.15 ish.
We will head down along the North Devon Heritage coast stopping at villages
and little coves perhaps for a cream tea,pop into Westward Ho
And visit Hartland Point and Bude and return across the top of Dartmoor and
wiggle our way through lanes and villages and some quick(ish) A roads to finish
back at Bridgwater.
Three day tours.
Day one will be broadly similar to the two day tour and will stay at a Hotel
in Illfracombe for two nights.
Day two.Head down to Bude and stop in at Boscastle almost rebuilt after the
dreadful floods.We can visit Port Isaac for a cream tea then head across Bodmin
Moor,skirting Bideford and back to Illfracombe.
Day three Head southeast to Dartmoor (mind the ponies) through Bovey Tracey
to Paignton and Brixham with its lovely Harbour
More cream tea`s perhaps we can then go inland to Totnes and down to Kingsbridge
and then join the A38 to travel north to Bridgwater,
This is a quick road if you fancy nipping along but we will travel at your pace.
These are brief descriptions of the rides and we can stop and start as often as you like ,its your holiday ,if there is somewhere on route that you want to visit please say.
Pricing
Day rides are priced at £30 per rider with pillions at £15.
Two day tours .Single room £159. Double/twin £151 per person
These include one night hotel with bed/breakfast and two course evening meal.
Three day tours. Single room £235. Double/twin £225 per person
These include to nights at the hotel as above.
Vegetarian meals can be provided with prior notice.
